A new Club is Born - NESMG
What is the North East of Scotland Motorsport Club?
The NESMC is a new car club recently established. It has progressed from the North East of Scotland Motor Group (NESMG) that has been running for 40 years.

The NESMC is made up of 6 car clubs in the area – Aberdeen & District MC, 63 Car Club, Stonehaven & District MC, Saltire Rally Club, 750 MC and Highland Car Club. Members of the 6 car clubs will automatically become members of the NESMC.

It will not be possible to join NESMC without being a member of one of the six clubs. There is no cost to join NESMC this is covered by an annual subscription fee paid by each club. NESMC will not organise any events but will promote events organised by the individual clubs.

The first meeting of the club will take place on Monday 6th March at 8PM including the NESMG award presentation. The venue for this meeting will be held in the upstairs meeting room within:- The Altens Community Centre, Strathburn Street, Altens, AB12 3SE

February 2017
If our Club and our Motorsport is to survive

2017 is the year in which things will change for rallying events in the UK.

Since the tragic circumstances on the 2014 Jim Clark Rally and the 2013 Snowman Rally, all such rallying events are all now subject to more MARSHALLING regulations.

Unfortunately turning up at an event, and signing on as you have done for years, is no longer available.

The MSA has not introduced this in order to make your life difficult, it is to improve the skills and the image of motorsport within Scotland.

We would like every SDMC member, driver, navigator, auto tester, hill climber or whatever your flavour of motorsport to take some time out to perform a simple online MSA training process.

>FAQ & Work Instructions<

>Start the online registration process here<

All clubs are being encouraged do this please do not let our Scottish motorsport community down. Our sport and our future events will not proceed if we do not help each other.

Our most urgent marshal requirement is for the Snowman Rally on the 18th February.
If you have not completed the online training please still come along, you will be “buddied-Up” with a competent Marshal.
There will be opportunities to car share.
