Welcome to the Stonehaven and District Motor Club. Since 1952 we have been organising and running many grassroots motorsport events as well as more recently becoming home to the Grampian Forest Rally.
We are part of the North East of Scotland Motorsport Club and are regulated by Motorsport UK.

After an excellent Grampian Rally comes a few non competetive events this month.
Our club social evening will take place in Portlethen for a private vintage vehicle viewing on the 25th at 7.30, more details will be emailed to you all.
This will then shortly be followed by the Aberdeen Performance Car Show on the 29th, where we will exhibit some of our members cars.
Some of you may also have noticed that we have an image gallery back online, with photos going back to 2005. Enjoy!
Aberdeen Performance Car Show
We are pleased to support the new Aberdeen Peformance Car Show taking place in September in the soon to be opened TECA (The Event Complex Aberdeen), next to Aberdeen Airport.
It is set to be the biggest show of its kind in the north east of Scotland, with static displays of cars from a large variety of motorsport disciplines and many other backgrounds.
We will be there to represent our corner of motorsport with a collection of rally and grassroots cars.

Instead of our usual social evening this month we will have a MARSHALLS TRAINING evening on Wednesday 31st of July.
It will be at Brian Watsons newly rebuilt rally track, which used to be Aberdeen Rally School.
It will run from 6pm to 9.30pm with refreshments avaliable from 6 to 6.30 since you may be missing out on your usual dinner.
The course will start with a half hour Q&A session on Pre-work followed by practical marshalling on the track with a simulated special stage, followed by a de-brief at 9pm.

First of all a reminder of our AGM on Wednesday the 3rd of April, see post below.
We had a successfull Autosolo last weekend and the results are available on the events page.
This has also updated our championship table on the championship page and you will see that for the first time in 5 years... the hairy one is not in the lead!
Last but not least, our monthly social evening is on the 24th April, usual time and place!

Welcome to a new motorsport season! and a somewhat new website...
New championship regs will be available soon.
This year our first club event will be the Gropers Navigational Rally on the 9th of March.
This will be followed our very first AutoSolo on the 30th of March at the Grampian Transport Museum in Alford.
The website is still being reworked, and more information such as past results will be uploaded in due course.
